Good morning Friends,
Here’s a brand new challenge for you this week, and one you might have to think about; but that’s what a challenge is right? Over at the Left of Center Creative Challenges we are bringing you the fabulous sponsor “A Day for Daisies.”
The theme is “Inspired by a Song,” think about maybe a specific song, or perhaps just music in general. Please let us know which song you chose by mentioning it in your post. Or, if you’d rather, you can enter a “LOC Alternative” art project instead of the theme! Something Dark or Goth.
I have chosen the song title “Mr Roboto” by the “Styx” here is the youTube link to watch the video: click here!
Here is my DT card:
I was provided with digi stamp “Bot Four” by ADFD. I have colored it with Copics.
I glued a piece of tin foil over card stock then used the Tim Holtz embossing folder. I then made a wash using water and black acrylic paint, and wiped it over the embossed piece.
The Japanese script I retrieved from the internet. For my sentiment I downloaded a free font called “Japanese Tourist.” As as you all probable well know that Domo Arigato is Thank you in Japanese. I used some sliver metal brads (JoAnn’s brand.)
I do plan on using this as a thank you card, I think it would be very cute to say thank you with this card.
I hope you get a chance to play along and, perhaps win some digi stamps from “A Day for Daisies.”
