ttt

We have 2 different sponsors for this weeks challenge! How fun is that?!?!?!?!

I had the extreme pleasure of working with a digital stamp from “Enchanted Design Studio,” featuring the work of Concetta Kilmer. She is on Etsy and her name appears as enchantedezignstudio   (Follow link or click on store logo!)

edsI had a lovely time coloring and creating with “Rockabilly Art.”

Here is how the digi stamp looks in the store:

Rockabilly enchantedezignstudio

Here is my DT project:

Canvas-8x10-Rockabilly

This is a 8×10 canvas.

I first painted it with Gesso, and acrylic paints. Followed by crafters paste on top of Stencil Girls’ stencil. Then added a screen mesh and sprayed Lindy’s Stamp gang spray ink on there; once dry I removed the screen.

The image was colored with Copics. I did paint purple streaks in her hair with acrylic paint and same for her eyeshadow.

The sentiment is a Freebie from “Create with TLC.”

Buttons and beads from stash. Skull charm is from Tim Holtz.

The metal pieces are from “Miriam’s Crafting Supplies.”

For my Tic Tac Toe, I went diagonal: Metal, Ribbon, Charm!

My pieces from “Miriam’s Crafting Supplies,” are “Metal.” The black choker w/ pink rhinestone is “Ribbon.” And the skull from TH is a “Charm.”

Looking forward to visiting your blog, to see which direction you went with your project. You can use any venders image, stamp, and or collage piece. If you are talented and can paint or draw we all would love to see that too!!

Good morning Friends,

Back with another Design Team project for LOC- “Left of Center Creative Challenges.”

Our sponsor this week is: Oddball Art Stamp Co.

Oddball art new badge

Our them this week is: Upcycle or Recycle something. Or as usual you can go “LOC” style which is to be un-usual! Here is my DT project for this week, I created a 6×6 scrapbook page and recycled some metal pull tabs.

Recycle-6x6-scrap-page

I had the pleasure of using “Digital Big Eye Girl w/ Attitude ~ Don’t Mess With Beany Image No.161 & 161B by Lizzy Love” (Follow the link to get yours.) Lizzy Love’s digis are still at a reasonable price, check out her other ones…

I colored my image with Copics.

I did have some fun with this week’s project. My grand-daughter had a blast posing for the photos, and she loves saying this saying. Leia is 3 1/2 but has quite the extensive vocabulary and speaks very well. I told her this little poem once and she walked around saying it and giggles each time she does.

My BG DSP is from stash some left over Halloween paper. The purple trim is from a necklace I made but then took it apart, the tabs are recycled from beers, most likely.

I also used card stock from Fun Stampers Journey in “Rock Candy” and “Citrus Cooler.” I used Black Journey Twine, and a Spellbinders die.

I typed and printed the poem.

Please take a visit at the challenge blog LOC for more inspiration and of course to load up your project you can use any vendor for your project. You will have a chance at winning some digis from Odd Ball Art.

Odd Ball Art also has a challenge blog CLICK ME!

I bought a bag of wood eggs from Micheal’s, then cover the egg with paper from a book. I made a mixture of water and Mod Podge and soaked my torn book pieces in it, then wrapped it all over the egg.

I stamped onto Tissue Paper and colored with Copics. Then I carefully put the tissue paper into the mixture then onto the egg. This is a stamp from Lost Coast Designs called “Art Doll.”

artdollThis is what the stamp looks like, I have linked it up to the store for you.

Using 2 different Unity Stamp co. stamps, one is a hand with the word ART, the other says all you need is Love. Stamped onto tissue paper then placed onto egg.
