Altered Alice in Wonderland Coffin!

The challenge theme this week at Smudgy Antics is:

Using at least one stamped image (real or digi) and following the rules posted on the left sidebar, we at Smudgy Antics challenge you to alter an item.
No cards will be allowed for this challenge.
Get creative and get crafting.  See how much fun it can be to turn found objects into new works of art.  Being the holiday season, perhaps you can alter an item and turn it into a gift for a loved one or make some holiday decor?
The more creative, the better.  We love it when you guys and gals think outside the box.

For my DT project I altered a coffin using all Alice in Wonderland digis from Smeared Ink!

This Smeared Ink digi is the “Queen of Hearts.” I cut her out of the full image so follow the link to get yours and see the entire image. I made the Vampire teeth from a clay mold with Sclupy clay. The tiny playing cards I ordered from Alpha Stamps.

This is the inside of the Coffin.

I typed the senti. Added another of the tiny playing cards. The Rose to the left of the main image came from The Queen of Hearts digi. This digi stamp here is the “Cheshire Cat” (Follow the link to see the full image and to get yours.)

I typed the senti. and added some more tiny playing cards. This digi is “Alice” (Follow the link to see the full image and to get yours.)

Altered-coffin-front-side-7Altered-coffin-back-side-5Altered-coffin-bottom-side-Altered-coffin-top-side-3The skull, moon and sun, faces, Vampire teeth, and hearts I made using Scullpy clay and a mold. I painted the coffin with black Gesso, once dried painted on molding past added my clay pieces, let dry and then repainted with black Gesso. Once that was dry I used metallic Rubz for the colors on the peaces and for the back ground. I did a light spray of glitter spray. And sealed it with a spray sealer.

I do hope to see you join us at Smudgy Antics for this weeks Alter something challenge click here to go and see the other DTs very awesome projects!
