March 1st Challenge at Simply Steampunk Challenges!

Today starts the next challenge at Simply Steampunk Challenges and the theme is “Distressed” so here is my DT project:

For this Distressed challenge I altered a mini journal book.

On the front I have used Simply Betty’s digi stamp “Believe” (Follow the link to get yours.) This stamp is one of the New Release stamps at SBS!

I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and Copics. I also used Tim Holtz brown Distress ink. The charm I made using Crystal Effects. I found some watch parts at Hobby Lobby sprinkled them into the charm then poured the Crystal Effects over it. Then added blue craft wire. The cogs is from a Stampin’ Up! Cog Punch. The DSP is from Recollections at Micheal’s. I made a pocket in the front flap and on the back. Brown grosgrain ribbon is SU, the ribbon on top is from stash. (Most likely from JoAnn’s.)
