Today starts a new challenge at Delicious Doodles Challenges. The theme is “Remembrance Sunday/ Thinking of You.”
Here is my DT scrapbook page:
I have used Delicious Doodles “Awareness Ribbon set.” I personally asked Teri to draw a Awareness Ribbon with a heart in the center. She did and here is a preview:
The month of September is Suicide Awareness month. World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10th, each year to promote worldwide action to prevent suicides.
A yellow ribbon with a heart is used to represent the survivors left behind after a suicide.
The senti on the Dylusions’ rubber stamp reads: “A remembrance brick for my brother.”
I made a donation and had a brick made with my brother’s name and his DOB and DOD in remembrance of him. My mom and I went to check it out, and I am dusting pine needles off of the brick.
If you would like this “Awareness Ribbon set” it is now free at Delicious Doodles’ shop. (Follow the link.)
