February’s image “Happy Heart Day” by Rick St. Dennis

Good evening Friends,

Those that received RSD’s newsletter will have noticed some changes. There are no more monthly freebies. Instead, there are two ways of obtaining the featured image.

1.) The monthly images will be sent with any purchase between the 1st through the 15th of the month.

2.) Thereafter, the image will be available in the 2 stores; one in the ETSY store as an instant download and/or in the Zibbet  store as an emailed image.

We have also changed the way the monthly prize will be awarded. The more people entering the challenge…the bigger the prize…so encourage your friends to enter and reap the benefits! The closing date for the February challenge is the 22nd. This gives us all a chance to wander through your blogs, leave some love and deliberate on our favorite project. No Mr. Random here.

Here is my EDT card: using the February digi “Happy Heart Day.

Feb-image-card-2014This little Valentine guy is called “Happy Heart Day.” I have colored him using Prismacolor pencils, (I used Copics on the hair, skin, cheeks, & eyes) then fussy cut him out. I dry embossed a strip of Starfruit card stock from Stampin’ Up! using the “Arrows” folder and used SU’s “Baked Brown Sugar, Ruffle Stretch Trim.” I used Whisper White as my card base. I printed the “Gold” “Swirly Heart” digital paper from Delicious Doodles. The sequence and the tiny heart button in the little Valentine’s hand came from Unity stamp co.
