BVD Hop with Smeared and Smudged Day 3! Using Ike’s Art

Good morning Friends,

My card today is not so bloody, but it’s not perky either!

BVH-Creepy-Q-2014I have used Ike’s Art “Creepy cupid” and paired it with a quote from Oscar Wilde that reads: “The Heart was made to be broken.” I used a font I just downloaded, called “Jellyka – Love and  Passion” all the “O’s” are hearts. I used a Stampin’ Up! heart punch with Whisper White card stock, then I painted the heart with “Zig wink of stella glitter” in Red.

I have colored the “Creepy cupid” using Copics. I have used the FREE “Arrows” embossing folder from Stampin’ Up!

I have created a book-marker that I would like to share with you all. Over at Ike’s World Challenges the theme is “Valentine” and Ike has offered a freebie, and that is what I used.

This LINK here will take you right to the area of the Freebie and to link up your project. There is still 4 days left to play. (As of this post.) Even though that link will take you to the correct area, I hope that you will scroll up and check out all of the creations that the DT’s made for some inspiration.

Isn’t he just the cutest puppy? I colored the puppy with Copics.  I used Dyulsions spry inks on the BG of the Book-Marker. I printed out my senti. using “I love what I do” a font I recently downloaded. Then I sprayed my strips of words before I glued them down. The hearts were punched using a Stampin’ Up! punch then I painted them with “Zig wink of stella glitter” in Red, and added “Real Red” Ruffle trim (from SU) at the bottom. I used my Zyron to laminate the book-marker. Top ribbons are from stash. If you can’t read the senti. it says “And they say it’s just puppy Love.”

I appreciate your time of looking and reading my blog today. Thank you for your visit, Stay Crafty my Friends!

Two great makes. The puppy love bookmark warms my heart and that cupid looks full of mischief! I love the layers, embossing, and sewing you used on your card. Swoon! I wish I knew how to sew. I would be adding stitches to everything…probably even to my poor fingers since I am so clumsy!
