Haunted Design House, A Step In the Dark, Smeared Ink’s rubber!

Good evening Friends,

I have made a Birthday card for my daughter’s uncle. He is turning 25 and likes stuff like “Fangora” etc… So I am pretty sure he will like this Birthday card. I did keep it subdued from my normal craziness. If you have ever followed my blog during one of Smeared and Smudge’s “31 Days of Halloween” I can get freaky LOL!

I was inspired by two challenge blogs for this card the first one is “Haunted Design House.” The inspiration there is a photo:

HDH inspThe second place I drew inspiration is from  “A Step In the Dark.” Their challenge #5 is “Dark Fantasy or AG.” At both challenge blogs the DTs have done some amazing things, do yourself a wee favor of delight and go visit these blogs!!

Now for my card:

Codys-bday-on-the-Fringe-SI

I have used Smeared Ink’s rubber stamp set called “Fringe.” This set can only be acquired by being a member of the SI Rubber Club.

I stamped the stamp with black Memento then used Copics to color it in. I used N’s, C’s, and T’s for the grays. The sentiment is part of the set and was stamped in black also.

The arrows are stickers from Tim Holtz. I used a Spellbinder die cut, then I sponged Silver ink by ColorBox on the edges of the cut out. The DSP is last year’s Halloween/Fall DCWV paper pack.

I am also entering this card into the Smeared and Smudged anything goes challenge on their nig site.

Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for your comments. Stay Crafty my Friends!

Peace,

KristyLee
