Good morning Friends,
I would like to say that I am now apart of the challenge blog called “Left of Center Creative Challenges.” I am very excited about this new adventure, there are a bunch of great artists I get to work with. I am starting off with challenge #36 the theme is “Add Sparkle.” The wonderful sponsor for this challenge is the amazing “Aurora Wings.” Mitzi (Owner) is an amazing artist and has several types of images, anywhere from cutesie, mainstream to the oddities! All of them are wonderful!
This is my first DT card for LOC:
I was provided with Aurora Wings’ image called “Christmas Holly Sprite in Winter coat.” (Follow the link to get yours.) For the “Add Sparkle” part of the challenge I used loose glitter and sparkly flocking from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
“Blue lightning” This is on the coat, and earrings.
“Sparkling Snow” This is on the edges of the coat.
“Sparkle N Soft- Twinkling Clouds” (This is sparkly flocking powder.) This I added to the hand muff.
For more added sparkle I used Silver glitter paper from Stampin’ Up! The senti in the center of the snowflake is from SU also. I made the flowers using a SU punch and retired SU Christmas DSP. I used a I distressed the edges of the flowers and mushed them a bit. I added shiny big brads in the center that I received from Black Dragon. Then added gold craft wire.
I have used card stock from Fun Stampers Journey. I used a Spellbinder Nestabilities for the back ground.
I hope you can come on over to “Left of Center Creative Challenges.” The theme is an easy one, just be Sparkly!! You can use anyone’s stamp. But you get a chance at winning some Aurora Wings images! Pop on over to the shop because there are so many different types of images, and they are all so very beautiful!
