LOC’s Challenge #60 A New Start with Ike’s Art!

Good morning Friends,

I would like to share my DT project for (LOC) Left of Center Creative Challenges with you.

This week’s talented sponsor is “Ike’s Art.”

Good Morning and a Very Happy New Year to you all. I hope you enjoyed the festivities and celebrations wherever you are and whatever you believe. The New Year traditionally sees the making of resolutions, stopping something or starting something… new beginnings if you will. So that’s what our first challenge of 2015 is about – A New Start. Our sponsor for this is Ike’s Art and we hope to see you join in with a project fitting the theme or indeed an LOC Creation!

Ike, from “Ike’s Art” drew this digi stamp called “Daemon Horse 1” for Smeared Ink and you can find it by clicking on the above link. You can find “Ike’s Art” by clicking on the badge or clicking where ever it says “Ike’s Art.”

I colored the image with Copics, I used a liquid mask so when I sponged the back ground it would not get on my image.

I used card stock from “Fun Stampers Journey” and the DSP on the candles is also Fun Stampers Journey. I used black glitter Stickles around the candles.

Flame washi tape and grey satin ribbon is from JoAnn’s. So is the Spellbinders die cut I used under the quote.

The back ground DSP is last years SU Christmas paper, I thought it looked cool with the light bursts.

Here is a closer view of Ike’s “Daemon Horse 1.”

Here is a close up of the quote, so you can see and read it.
