Day 22 of 31 days of Halloween and Smudgy Antics’ Monster Mash!

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics is

“MONSTER MASH“.
You can base your project after the song, you can create a scene with a mash of monsters, or you can do a mash-up of images to create your own monster.  The more creative, the better!  If it is not evident as to how your project pertains to the theme, please explain it in your post.  If you are at a total loss for inspiration…just use a monster and you should be fine.

There will be no more top 3 or random winner.

Our Design Team will vote for ONE winner and that person will receive both a blog button and prize. You do not have to use a Smeared Ink image to win.  We pick the best of the entries so bring your A-game!  Also, please remember there is no back-linking allowed and you must be a follower of Smudgy Antics to qualify for a prize.

My offering today is a card:

This is my DT card for Smudgy Antics‘ challenge that started to called “Monster Mash!”

I am also entering this card into a challenge at Smeared and Smudged. It’s under the “Very Sketchy Challenge Oct.”Here is the sketch:

If you are not aware, Smeared and Smudged has lots of awesome things to learn, see, do, and get involved with. Do you like Art journaling?  Well there is info about that too. Do you like swaps? Yep, we have swaps at Smeared and Smudged.

For the card base I use SU card stock. The DSP is from Martha Stewart, I distressed the edges with a distressing tool, and sponged the papers with distress inks.  I have used Grumpies from Smeared Ink. I used “Fluffy Li’l Grumpie” and “Love Li’l Grumpie- Heart.” (Follow the links to get yours.) I colored the Grumpies with Copics. The senti, I typed on my computer and printed then distressed the edges.  It’s kind of a play on words, the words are part of a song from “The Hollies.” (Follow the link to the youtube video.)
